Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that is meant to treat substance abuse problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab takes part in a variety of rehabilitation services and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for addicted persons in Rio Grande who who may be unable to pay for long-term inpatient care, or for treatment clients who are unable to be away from their families for extended durations of time.
