Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that works to treat drug addiction problems and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehab partakes in various rehab services and techniques in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
