Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehabilitation facility that is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab takes part in a variety of rehabilitation activities and techniques in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted persons in Ridgeway who are unable to afford long-term inpatient care, or who are unable to be away from their families for extended periods of time. While in Day Treatment, people participate in typical treatment services for addiction issues while also dealing with mental health issues which may deter them from staying sober once rehab is done.
