Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program that works to treat drug addiction problems and psychological disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehabilitation participates in a number of treatment services and approaches in the daytime and then leaves in the night time. This is done several days per week, depending on the severity of the problem.
