Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment facility which is meant to handle substance abuse disorders and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab partakes in various rehabilitation services and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug addicted persons in Raymond who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient care, or for treatment clients who are unable to be away from their home and work for extensive lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, people participate in traditional counseling and therapy for addiction problems while also addressing psychological issues which could keep them from remaining abstinent once rehab is done.
