Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol treatment program which works to deal with drug addiction problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab partakes in a variety of treatment activities and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days a week, all dependent on the significance of the drug problem.
