Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which works to handle drug addiction issues and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehabilitation partakes in a number of treatment activities and methods in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the problem.
