Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab facility which is meant to handle substance abuse issues and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in treatment takes part in a number of treatment activities and approaches in the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug addicted persons in Poseyville who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient treatment, or for treatment clients who are not able to be away from their home and work for extended periods of time.
