Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol rehab facility which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehabilitation participates in various rehabilitation services and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
