Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program which works to treat drug addiction disorders and psychological disorders which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehabilitation takes part in a number of treatment activities and techniques during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days a week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
