Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment facility that is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehabilitation participates in a number of treatment activities and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the evening time. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
