Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehabilitation center which is meant to treat drug addiction issues and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a variety of treatment activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
