Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program that works to treat substance abuse disorders and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in treatment takes part in a number of rehabilitation activities and methods in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
