Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation center which is meant to deal with drug addiction issues and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in treatment partakes in a number of rehabilitation services and techniques in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem.
