Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in treatment participates in a variety of rehab services and methods in the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days a week, all dependent on the severity of the problem.
