Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation center that works to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehabilitation takes part in a variety of rehabilitation activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the significance of the problem.
