Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol treatment program which is meant to handle substance abuse problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment takes part in a variety of rehabilitation services and approaches in the daytime and then leaves in the evening time. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the significance of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug or alcohol addicted persons in Piedmont, Oklahoma who are unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient treatment, or for treatment clients who are not able to be apart from their families for extensive periods of time.
