Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab facility which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in treatment participates in various treatment services and approaches in the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
