Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment facility that works to deal with substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab partakes in various rehab services and approaches during the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the significance of the drug problem.
