Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment facility that works to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab participates in a variety of rehab activities and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the significance of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for addicted individuals in Pelham who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient care, or for those who are unable to be apart from their households for prolonged durations of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in traditional treatment services for alcohol or drug addiction problems while also addressing psychological problems which could keep them from staying sober after rehabilitation is done.
