Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehab program which works to treat drug addiction disorders and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a number of rehabilitation services and methods in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done several days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
