Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment facility which is meant to deal with drug addiction problems and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in treatment takes part in various rehab activities and approaches in the day and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
