Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab program that works to handle substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment participates in various rehabilitation services and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted people in Panther Burn who who may be unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient rehab, or for those who are unable to be apart from their home for prolonged periods of time.
