Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment program that is meant to handle substance abuse issues and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehabilitation takes part in various rehabilitation activities and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening.
