Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab center that is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction issues and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment participates in a variety of rehabilitation activities and methods in the day and then returns home in the evening.
