Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol rehabilitation center that works to handle substance abuse issues and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the person in rehab partakes in various rehab activities and methods in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem.
