Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of alcohol and drug rehab center which works to deal with drug addiction issues and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a variety of rehabilitation activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
