Facilities known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment programs are readily available to those individuals in Oakland who are fighting co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and psychological disorders. These types of programs may be helpful to specific rehab clientele in Oakland who may not be able to pay for inpatient treatment, or who are unable to take advantage of an inpatient program due to familial obligations. Partial hospitalization programs work with the individual in the daytime through therapy and other treatment strategies, and then the client goes home in the PM. Treatment is performed nearly each day of the week on a tailored program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the client both physically and mind.
