Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab center which is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab takes part in a number of rehabilitation activities and strategies in the day and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the problem.
