Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment facility which is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehab takes part in a variety of rehab services and strategies in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
