Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol treatment facility which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehabilitation participates in a number of treatment activities and approaches during the day and then leaves in the evening.
