Gays and Lesbians may at time have special treatment needs when taking part in addiction treatment. A specialized curriculum and treatment atmosphere which is conducive to the needs of gays and lesbians is can be taken advantage of in many drug rehab facilities throughout the North East area which acknowledge the unique needs and challenges which gays and lesbians in North East will have to overcome while in treatment.
