Rehabilitating individuals who are addicted and dependent to drugs and/or alcohol and have ended up in the criminal justice system has proven to be a productive method of curbing future drug related crimes those offenders who do become rehabilitated. For criminal justice clients in North East who do take part in in drug rehab facilities, even against one's will as is often court ordered, these persons have a much better chance at dealing with the root of the issue so that they can stay sober and off of being implicated in drug related crimes. The costs to society associated with these drug related crimes is also affected beneficially when criminal justice clients become rehabilitated in drug and alcohol treatment facilities in North East in lieu of incarceration or other harsh punishment.
