Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehab center that works to handle substance abuse problems and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehab participates in a number of rehabilitation activities and approaches during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done several days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug or alcohol addicted men and women in Nixon who may not be able to cover the costs of long-term inpatient rehab, or for those who are unable to be apart from their home and work for extended periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in standard treatment services for addiction problems while at the same time overcoming mental health issues which could keep them from remaining abstinent after rehabilitation is done.
