Facilities known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment centers are offered to those men and women in New Salem who are having difficulties with co-occurring drug and alcohol abuse and psychological issues. These types of centers can be effective to those treatment clientele in New Salem who may not be able to afford inpatient care, or who are not able to take part in an inpatient program because of familial obligations. Partial hospitalization programs work with the client in the daytime through therapy and other rehab methods, and then the client returns home in the PM. Rehab is performed nearly each day of the week on a tailored program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the individual both body and mind.
