Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehab partakes in various rehabilitation activities and techniques in the daytime and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the severity of the drug problem.
