Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab program that works to handle drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in rehab takes part in various rehab services and methods during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug problem.
