Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment program that is meant to handle substance abuse problems and mental health issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehabilitation takes part in a number of treatment activities and strategies during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem.
