Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug treatment center which works to handle substance abuse issues and mental health disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in treatment participates in a number of rehab services and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the significance of the problem.
