Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation center which is meant to treat drug addiction problems and psychological issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a variety of rehabilitation services and techniques in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for addicted men and women in Mekinock who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient treatment, or for treatment clients who are not able to be apart from their households for extended durations of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients participate in traditional treatment services for drug and alcohol addiction problems while simultaneously overcoming mental health problems which may deter them from staying sober after treatment is done.
