Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol treatment center that works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab participates in a number of treatment services and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time. This is done several days a week, depending on the significance of the drug problem.
