Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehabilitation facility that works to treat drug addiction disorders and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab takes part in a variety of treatment activities and approaches in the day and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the severity of the problem.
