Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehab center that works to handle drug addiction problems and psychological problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation participates in a variety of rehab activities and techniques during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the problem.
