Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility that is meant to treat drug addiction disorders and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in a number of rehab activities and approaches in the daytime and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the severity of the problem.
