Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility which is meant to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the individual in rehabilitation participates in various rehabilitation services and approaches in the day and then returns home in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
