Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol treatment program which works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in treatment takes part in a number of treatment services and approaches in the day and then leaves in the evening time. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the significance of the drug problem.
