Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation center that is meant to treat substance abuse issues and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab partakes in a number of rehab services and approaches during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days a week, depending on the significance of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted persons in Mansfield who may not be able to afford long-term inpatient care, or for those who are unable to be away from their home for prolonged durations of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in traditional treatment services for alcohol or drug addiction problems while at the same time dealing with mental health issues which could keep them from remaining sober once rehabilitation is done.
