Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug rehab center which is meant to treat drug addiction disorders and psychological disorders which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in various treatment services and strategies in the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug or alcohol addicted people in Mamou who are unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient care, or for treatment clients who are unable to be away from their home for prolonged periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients take part in standard treatment services for addiction problems while simultaneously overcoming mental health issues which may deter them from staying sober once treatment is complete.
