Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug treatment center that is meant to handle drug addiction issues and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehabilitation participates in a number of rehabilitation activities and approaches in the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the drug or alcohol problem.
