Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment facility which works to deal with substance abuse disorders and psychological issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in treatment participates in a variety of rehabilitation activities and strategies in the daytime and then returns home in the evening time.
